Unforunately my PC crashed - obviously caused by a Windows problem. Therefore I need reliable help in German or English to save the data on my hard disc. Any recommendation is highly appreciated.

Suggestion: boot up with ubuntu cd (I don't have one but maybe someone else does, you can just download to cd or usb stick from www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download), you can also use any linux distro) and see if drive is readable. Alternatively you can remove the hard drive from the laptop and attach it to a working computer. Good luck.
