I'm looking to start up a small business and would need help putting up a web page (English and French) with my info. Something ultra simple. I'm quite new at this so I would appreciate any advice regarding search engine optimization and domain name purchase. I have the host server already.
Please let me know how much you would charge for this.

Thing is, I already can have it hosted on my family's company server and don't want to pay extra. All these website builders are great but then you're bound to them and their servers.
I agree that I don't really need professional help but maybe a student who wants to try a first hand paid experience could do it. Anyone has a brother / sister, nephew, grandkid studying webdesign who could help?
What about guru? anyone tried it?

I have a super simple site up with www.weebly.com. www.macacrthaigh.info, I pay a couple a bucks extra a year to weebly for some additional extras, like analytics, videos, customer area etc. also bought my domain on godaddy.com. I even added a wedding photo site last year on the weebly domain. mczia.weebly.com only took a few hours to build and everyone liked it!

Kevin your site is way more complicated than what I want to do at the moment and I realised just now that I can actually build a web page using word... As simple as that!

If you have a gmail account, you can use blogger.com which is 100% free and which will fit the purpose of your 1page website. Easy to customise too, no monthly fees, not even the need for a domain if you do not expressely want one.

you mean the page content ? the content can be any language. i had done a website for 2 langs (FR and EN)
