I have 2 British friends (2 children) married in Scotland who are separating but not divorcing. They are looking for a lawyer or mediator to draw up a legal separation agreement here in Switzerland, which would be binding both in the Switzerland and UK. They are not sure if it should be officiated by a judge or just drawn up by a legal entity.
Or…….
Should they get a separation agreement drawn up in the UK? Would this be binding here too?
Has anyone had a similar experience, especially within the International Agencies?
Many thanks.
