Zakzy, as a frontalier you don't have to do your taxes, as they are taken straight from your salary (or you work on your own in gva while living in france?).

There are a few things you can claim back from the taxes before march 31th (pension fund buyback, someone taking care of your kids, 3rd pillar, what you spend to go to work,....), you find the form here:

I may be mistaken, but I always thought that staff employed at the Tax Office were not allowed to freelance their skills in their spare time.  If they do, they certainly won’t appreciate the fact being advertised on a public website.

Some time ago...I asked for help for making my taxes because I have my main residence in Zurich and I am living and working here in Geneva...it is a bit complicated with paper works. However, in the mean time, learning a few books and asking around for help, I became a semi-professional on swiss taxes. I posted this last year and found a solution already that works for me.

(my wife... who is doing all my finances anyway..)

After having worked with several 'specialists' I'm much more comfortable now and the work actually gets done in time.. 

She just learned all the tricks from the people we worked with before and there is a ton of stuff you can find on the tax offices website.

If you want to keep this thread going be my guest, can be usefull for the newbies in Switzerland.. but be warned there's a lot of amateurs out there who will gladly charge you for no work at all ;-)
