Looking to form Rock/Alternative band around Geneva

Hey there,

I'm an English drummer based near Geneva. I just wanted to test the waters and see if there's anyone interested in putting together a rock band.

I'm thinking - Alter Bridge, Stone Temple Pilots, Black Stone Cherry, Soundgarden, G'n'R.

Being a drummer, I'd be looking for Guitars, bass and vocals.

I've been playing for a long time with a lot of live experience so not really looking for absolute beginners, but bedroom guitarists who dream of being on stage are welcome ;-)

Anyone interested drop a reply and we'll see if we can sort something.

Hi,

Once a month in Versoix, at Les Caves de Beau Séjour, there is a jam session for whoever wishes to join. You may be able to meet there people you're looking for.

I live near Geneva in France . I moved from Paris recently.

Iv'e got this band Cheap Star www.myspace.com/cheapstar

We've done a CD and a ep with Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow form the Seattle's band the Posies.

I'm finishing the next one.

I'm into the Lemonheads, Dinosaur Jr, Sebadoh, Pavement, Queens of the Stone Age...

Tell me what you think. Is there a place online I could listen how you play as well?

Hello Matt

I am a bass player - definitely interested in possibly joining up to form a rock band. My main influences are metal - Sabbath, Maiden Acd. megadeth etc but also intersted in playing stuff like Queens of the Stoneage, Strokes, Soundgarden, Offspring, Green day,System of a down, etc Anyway let me know if you want to meet up
