Lost wallet

Hi,

I managed to lose my wallet over the weekend - it's black "card holder" style wallet with a number of cards, including a UBS debit card, UBS credit card, UK driving license, UBS e-banking card, a TPG annual pass, and a couple of other ID cards.

I was around Plainpalais all day on Saturday - Lady Godiva's, Cafe Valaisanne, and Kraken bar - and all cards are named "Henry Taylor".

If anyone happened to pick it up please get in touch - there's a thankful beer/wine reward on offer :)

Hopefully Henry you have already alerted the police in the event that someone honest has handed in your lost wallet.

Presumably you have already cancelled all your cards? This has happened to me and it is a horrible experience. Hope you find it.

Call http://www.ge.ch/objets_trouves/ 'Lost properties" by Friday, someone could have handed it in, but it takes about a week!  You never know...

A friend of mine lost her C permit, looked everywhere, telephoned all the places she had been and after two months reported it lost and replaced it.  Of course two weeks later the hospital where she had left it telephoned to say they had found it.  She had been there personally and teklphoned beforem that

I lost my driving licence and after five months got a replacement.  1 week later the lost propoerty office telephoned mne to say that migros had handed it in after nearly six months.

Go to all the places where you were, visit personally and telephone.  Watch your bank accounts on a daily basis. I did have one credit card where I was able to put a temporary block on it, so always worth trying

If you have no means of checking card transactions then put a stop on the card (temporary if you can)
