In the end its all about the collar still looking tiptop after a little use, and Hilditch and Key were aleays the best. I stopped buying there because they didnt have slim fit .. but following Feehary's link it seems  they now do, so im going to give 'em a shot.

I believed the hype and tried a couple of Emma Willi's and I just didnt think they lasted as well, for 200 quid ( ! ) a pop.

This is an incredible site if you know which of their cuts etc, suit you. I buy suits, shoes and shirts there at 40% less than the same stock is sold here, partly because of the exchange rate and partly because they will rebate UK sales tax directly onto your debit card.

I just got my first bespoke suit this weekend at Raj Mirpuri (and am very happy with the result). It's my first bespoke suit and I love it, and I think the fact I got a bespoke suit confirms that I am an important guy.

A bespoke suit, as I myself learned only 3 weeks ago, is a tailor made suit. A tailor measures you, and then creates the suit just for you. 

Regular people like Charlie (and like me until 3 weeks ago) buy suits off the shelf. But people like Obama, Clinton, and me (as of 2 weeks ago) but the bespoke kind.

Congrats... I have two that were made for me 15 yrs ago... still fit well and shape keeps well. Only advice i would give anyone having a suit thats hand made...get two pairs of trousers, since its the trousers that wear out fastest.. depending on the cloth of course.

I was looking at the shirt sizes in Charles Tyrwhitt's website. I can't figure out what does "armhole" mean. Where the heck is my armhole?

I tend to end up with the TM Lewin Charles Tyrhitt shirts... I think my firm has a corporate deal with discount vouchers or something.

I also highly recommend T J Holland for great quality and something a bit different... and yes its actually a friend's  brand he set up a few years ago, but I'd recommend it anyway: www.tjholland.co.uk   :-). You may be able to email Tom, mention my name and ask him to wrap it appropriately for Swiss post... new here so I don't know how strict they are!
