Mountain biking around Pays du Gex

Hi, Im looking for some people to join up with that know the local trails.

I've been riding for 23 years xc & dh.

I just moved here after 6 years in Chamonix, so I'm used to big ascents and techy descents.

I'm available most evenings and weekends.

Cheers

You can try Crozet cable car but they didn't allow me to use cable car during winter because biking on the snow is "too dangerous".

In July and August, you can definetely take the bike up and there are couple of technical paths (I am also here for 8 months so don't know much), usually steep, no jumps, no flowy parts. We could try a weekend together so that I can show you what I know.

Saleve is also OK, there are some not well maintained DH tracks (some jumps as well) also cable car works more or less all year.

Hey,

There are several really good descents from the Salève. I'm out of action at the moment with a fracture, but keep in touch and maybe we can ride later in the year.

I would be happy to join for some all-mountain/enduro :) The trail I know best is above Divonnes.

Cheers,

Nico
