Moving to Geneva with dogs

I have two lovely dogs, which I brought with me from Kenya where I spent the last seven years working with the UN. It seems so hard to find a small apartment with a garden in either Geneva or France for me and my dogs. Can anyone give me a tip maybe I am looking in the wrong places. I am grateful for any advice, Rhea

Hey Rhea,

It's hard to find any apartment in GVA, let alone one with a garden...

Sadly, the only tip I can give you is to keep looking. There's are ground-floor apts with gardens. There's also many apartments that don't have a garden but do have a balcony, in case that's an option.

Good luck,

Nir

Hi Rhea,

We have a little dog now also, and neither a garden or balcony, however we do live in the countryside and I use my friendly neighbor/farmers field as and when is needed...Just an idea, as Nir rightly said its tough to find a place for a human in GVA let alone k9.

Look a bit further outside GVA - E.g. Nyon is slightly cheaper - and only takes 16' trainride into GVA...
