Anyone know of any decent ones?
I think it really depends upon the instrument...
If I remember correctly, there is a guitar shop on Rue Vieux Billiard in Plainpalais, Place du Cirque stop trams 13, 14, 15...
I also saw guitars in a shop in Carouge, probably tram stop Ancienne, trams 12 and 14.
You can also find second-hand instruments at Cash Converters... and some times at the Plainpalais flea market on Wednesdays and Saturdays...

Neil,
Translator is right. It really does depend on what you are looking for. As a place to start, I'd recommend Servette Music. It's a fairly small shop, but they offer a lot of choice and their staff is always helpful.
Good luck, KEN///

Thanks all, managed to take a ramble yesterday, and came across the Music Arts place. Happy playing
