Hi All,
I am in the process to organize my first New Year's Eve in Geneva and I am so excited about that!
I would like to organize a very romantic night in the heart of Geneva and one idea is dinner and dancing at New Year's Eve on a boat on the Lake. I am new here in Geneva and I do not know if this would be possible.
Can anyone give me some help and / or ideas?
My boyfriend, who doesn't live in Switzerland, will come to spend New Year's Eve with me and I would like to organize something special to surprise him!

Hi Mary,
I'm sure there are various resto's out there.
One place "Arthur's" has specials going on. They have 2 restaurants with different styles of events. http://www.arthurs.ch/pages/news.asp
Best to reserve quickly wherever you decide to go. Many of the big hotels I'm sure have special events going on.
Some other places for ideas:
At midnight in the old town by the cathedral people gather around and ring in the new year. http://www.whatsonwhen.com/sisp/index.htm?fx=event&event_id=158800
