Hello,
I've been looking for a nice English Scone for a year in Geneva,
but it's so hard to fine.
Beside starbucks, is there anyone knows where I can buy a scone?
Thanks!

If you can wait until November, when the Church of Scotland in Geneva and the English Church (Holy Trinity) have their Christmas Fairs, you will find real home-made scones like grandma used to offer. But go early.
Meanwhile, pester your UK friends to make you some scones
now and then.
Or try Jim’s British
market.

Thanks Ritchie,
I'll keep my eyes on the notice for the christmas faire from November.
Unfortunately I don't have any UK friends here to pester
but I just ordered some easy mix for scones and tea from Jim's British Market.^^
Thank you very much for your useful tips!
Best wishes

Hello,
Did you try the "Théière qui rit" or "Laughing tea-pot" (15, rue de la Cité, near Bel Air) with butter and marmelade ?
Or Pâtisserie/Tea-room Christophe Berger (16, rue Henry Dunand : plaine de Plainpalais) ?
Best wishes.

Good luck with the scone mix. Do let us know how you get on.
And why not click on the “Groups” tab to look for anglophone get-together events. If you sign up, I’m sure you’ll soon make some UK friends in no time.
Best wishes, R.
