Other really good option is l'assiette genevoise (half price in lots of restaurants). But if you dont want one of these reduction cards, try buyclub.ch for daily deals. If you accept going a bit out of geneva, they get much cheaper as well....

What would be non-expensive for you? Dishes around 20-30 or even cheaper? Because it doesnt get cheaper than this in gva.... And if you add up the 6-7chf wine glass, it gets easy 50 per person...

Most of the indians and chineses would be on this range. Paquis is full of reasonable ones. I have my favorite brazilian, Barraco Chic at Servette. Sushi at Kirin. Layalina for libanese. Along servette and lyon streets you have lots of not so expensive options.

Eritrean association in Jonction, 16 francs with meat, 15 francs vegetarien, realy tasty, you eat with your fingers(no forks or knife), 3 francs for glass of red/white/rose wine or a beer.If you ask for water they give you a 1 litter jar. Not fancy but nice ambiance, lots of students and english speaking costumers. The catch is it's hard to find, it's in a building (first floor), no signs whatsoever.
Send me PV if you want directions.
