Obgyn, midwife, doula recs?

Hi all,

We moved here about a month ago and I'm in my first trimester. Would love recommendations for a good obgyn and/or midwife and/or doula. Since we just got here, I'm eligible for the basic insurance package only, which means I have to deliver at a shared room at HUG with whoever is there that day/night... so would feel so much better knowing I can have some continuity of care with an obgyn/midwife up until the delivery.

Unless it's possible to have a midwife or doula of my choosing with me? Does anyone know?

Any and all recommendations and suggestions are most welcome.

Check out the Mums and Mums-to-be Groups on glocals. You’ll get loads of advice from those who’ve been there.

There’s a Mothers-to-be Group and a Ferney Pregnant Women’s Group. Lots of people living in Ferney are able to go to HUG for medical care, including maternity services.

I seem to remember a group called “… with a bump” but wasn’t able find it just now.
