Try asking a bank? It's the easiest. PostFinance for account and main card + migros card for the credit card (to avoid paying any fees given you have 7,000 on your main acct at all times). Or UBS.

I opened a bank account recently with UBS. They asked for a work contract, passport and lease contract. Since, I was still waiting for my work permit, they opened the account without it.

The easiest way is to ask your HR department for a statement confirming your professional status.  With that, the procedure usually works fast and well.

Normally, with the carte de legitimation and your national passport, you should be OK. But just to be on the very safe side, have your Offer of Appointment with you.
