Optrician

Any recommendations for an optrician in Geneva?

I am looking to get new glasses, but would like an eye examination first with a fluent English-speaking optrician (I know quite a few are likely to speak some English, but I'm looking for someone who could capably answer detailed questions and give advice).

Lindegger opticians, 15 cours de Rive, is the traditional place to go for anglophones (and also Genevan society).  The service is excellent but, naturally enough, it is not the cheapest option.

You pays your money …

Thank you both! Is scheduling an appointment recommended, or do the optricians also accept walk-ins?

Hi,

I think it is better to get an appointment to avoid waiting too long.

I agree with Liliana.  An appointmnet is not only better but also more considerate than just droping in on a Saturday or in the early evening.  After all, you are seeking skilled and experienced advice not a pack of chewing gum.
