Dear all,

I'm looking for a park or other area of town that has a (small) workout area with bars and parallel bars to do pull-ups, chin-ups and dips. Does anyone have an idea?

There's a fantastic map of all kinds of outdoor/nature/agriculture things of the canton of Geneva at http://www.campagnon.ch/.

Among the things to choose in the left hand side navigation, "Parcours Vita" is what you're looking for.

Thanks for the quick response! I see all "parcous" are located outside Geneva. Do you happen to know if there is anything available within the city?

You find a huge sports area and woods at Bout du monde in Geneva (though not sure if they have vita parcours etc.). There are beachvolleyball, basketball and football areas, an outdoor swimming pool etc.

Thanks Rena, I actualy think there were a few things like bars to do pull ups and stuff or at least there were 10 years ago. Will try to have a look next week!

there is a parcours in Carouge on the hill by the school near behind place du rondeau which is good
