Overnight motorcycle parking in Paquis

Hello,


My Dad and a friend will be arriving in Geneva this weekend by motorbike, and I'm wondering where would be best for them to park their bikes overnight. I live on the rue de Lausanne (near Scandale) so there is no place in front of my apartment. I've seen some bike spaces in the side streets in Paquis but I was wondering how safe it would be to leave a bike there overnight. The bikes are not really high value and they have the proper locks so I'm not worried about them being stolen, but more being knocked over / damaged.


Does anybody have any advice on this?

Hi Rachel,


I suggest to leave them in front of Cornavin (between main road and tram stop) for example or near SGS building- I maean somewhere on the busy place- not in the dark street corner. This is what I usually do with my bike.You are right about Paquis and rue de Lausanne. I'm more concerned about drunk people who may simple make it fall. No worries about the thefts- they are more interested in the scooters.Talking from experience.


Also- you may parc your motorbike at Cornavin undergroup parking- if really feels like.But no stress! Hope it helps!
