Parking along tram 12 towards Annemasse

Hello,

I just moved to Eaux-Vives and I don't even think of parking there. Most of usage of my car will be over weekends for trips to alps, so putting it somewhere between Eaux-Vives and border seems logical. Or if there is anything just across the border it might be acceptable.

I would prefer some bigger parking where you need card to get  in&out rather than just parking on street (theft). Anybody can suggest anything? Or correct me if my assumptions are wrong?

Thank you ;)

Wrong there are still free white parking spaces where you can leave your car for unlimited periods.

There are white parking spaces near the 12 tram for sure.

Chemin de Grange-Canal
Ch Frank Thomas
Av Rosemont

These are a few I pass each day .. It's a quite area but at the time I pass at least,  most of the spaces are taken.

Hello,

I have no problem paying reasonable sum.

I know about macarons, but Eaux Vives (at least streets I saw around) had blue spots 100% taken, all the time. So this option is really not for me, I am looking for something more stable, hassle-free (and at little bit secured if possible).

Cost/effort ratio you will not find a better solution. Eaux-Vives is a residential area so parking in the blue areas will be hard to find in the evening when everyone is at home but much easier early morning when folks go to work. Since you will only be moving the car 1-2 times / week according to your own predictions you should be able to put up with a little bit of effort knowing that after you find a spot you can leave it there for the rest of the week.

Now if you would be using the car every day that would be a different story.

Outside my place in Eaux-Vives there's also a rule that if the space isn't big enough, you just make it big enough. Every night i see cars bumping their way into a space with the sound of crunching bumpers and breaking number plates or lights ..

I would not park there
