Parking in Geneva

Can anyone advice me where I could find available and if possible cheaper place to park car when my mum is coming for 2 days. Looking for place around Geneva train station.

Park it outside of Geneva, then take the train into Geneva.  Coppet or Versoix might be an option, and it's only a few minutes by train.

Hi Sarka - there are two more options vs. parking completely outside the city. I also live around the station and have encountered the issue myself in the past...


1. Blue Zone visitors passes - You can get these from the public parking authority (Fondations des Parkings) for CHF 20 / day. Here's a a link to a flyer:

2. Take the car to Aire, about a 10 minute drive from the station. There is no zone bleue restrictions there any more, and a good level of on-street parking available (you can see all zone bleues in the flyer, and Aire is where the zone restriction ends to the west of Sector "J").
