Pet rat seeks home
Hello all,

As there is no classified for pets on glocals I thought I'll just ask this in the forum:

My partner and I have a grey pet rat that we can no longer keep (due to moving house) and hence we are looking for someone that would like to look after her.

She is very friendly and sociable, and loves being petted.

Unfortunately, she's just under 2 years, which is quite high for a rat, and hence she may only live for a few more months. But for someone looking for a pet for a short period of time, or just wanting to try what it is like to have a pet rat, this may be the perfect match!

If anyone can think of someone that would like to take care of her please let me know!

Many thanks,
Evy

Hi Evy,

This sounds like it's not going to be easy, but here we go:  if you don't find a person who wants to take over, you can try a so-called 'Auffangstation' or a 'Tierheim'. Both kinds of organization will take your pet for a fee.

You can check out www.tierheime.ch or maybe www.tierpensionen-schweiz.ch, they also have a category for rodents.

Good luck,

Pete
