Hi all,
Does anyone have recommendations (Geneva area) for a physio or sports massage therapist that specialises in either:
- athletic injuries (shoulder, back)
- postural corrections
Thanks in advance!

I swear by Nocolas Dominik, Espace Physio des Esserts, 1213.( French / English) www.e-physio.ch
Also Yves Marinoni. Rue de Villereuse 3, 1207. www.physport.ch (not sure if he speaks English)
They are both good with sports injuries, extremely professional and very thorough. I have used them both several times over the years and with good results.
In the past I have chosen Physiotherapists by location, near to my home or work place and have always ended up coming back to one of the above to get things put right.

Thanks so much for the two recommendations Shirley, much appreciated.
I got Yves Marinoni recommended as well but will follow your advice - choose based on location (as it sound slike both are good).

The sports doctors at la tour hospitalier are excellent (i saw Dr Kouglin). They treat the Swiss Olympic team.
Physio coranavin are an excellent sports physio and are conveniently located next to manor.
if you search on glocals, you'll find lots of other recommendations (that's how I found Dr Kouglin).

Thanks for the tips Rachel!
The services provided by La Tour is impressive - and I am not too far to Meyrin so that's convenient too.
Will also look into Physio Cornavin, which is also relatively close for me so also wel located.
This guy. Holmes Place.
Thanks Richard, will check out David.

For me Hopital de la Tour is the best place. Dr. Koglin is very good and so are his colleagues. I am with Dr. Finn Mahler who is great. He helped me with several sports related injuries.
Yves Marinoni is not a medical doctor but a physotherapist. I have been there, too but would rather see a doctor first.

Thanks Rena! Indeed, my ocnclusion is that I may gto see a sports doctor first to ensure an indepth analysis is made. I have had a back ache that has come and gone for 1-2 years and tried osteopathy with little success.
My daily commute is a total of 2 hours by car so I sit down every weekday for a decent amount of time. My pain is in the quadratus lumborum muscle but I don't know why it is hurting me. I also recently had a shoulder injury (tendinitis) and had to be off weights for 2-3 months. Now I am back but being careful but I want to ensure I don't do anything that could cause more damage.
