I'm looking to take my kids to a pumpkin farm around the Geneva area to select some pumpkins for Halloween. I have seen lots for sell around but wonderd if there was an acutal farm or patch I could visit? We are living in Canton Vaud but can travel a bit if needed.

No sure if it a farm or what .. But do you know the Signy Center? Big white shoppingh place near Nyon..
In a field by the side of the road there they have many many pumpkins sitting there, I think you go take one and leave some money. There's a little sign but driving past i can't read it.

near Nyon and ive already seen about 3 different places that are "selbst bedeinung", as in you go there, pick your pumpkin and theres a box where you put the money, noone is even looking to see you put the correct amount, the swiss people just trust you will. Im sorry I dont know geneva, plus its a city so a little harder to grow pumpkins there than in the country side.
There is a farm just off the Divonne motorway exit that you can buy pumpkins (well you could last year) its down towards Coppet Mies about 700m from the motorway exit as you pass the Founex turn off on the RHS.

I never found an actual field of pumpkins and I did a bit of driving and knocking on doors.
If you are looking for some decent pumpkins in the Geneva area I suggest the farm called La Fraisière in Meyrin. They have the right type of pumpkin and they sell them for 1.80 per kg which is allot cheaper than some of the other places I saw.
