Radiofrontier: "Operation Red Nose Up and Running" -- Don't Let Your Friends Drive Tipsy!

http://www.radiofrontier.ch/news/local-news/operation-red-nose-up-and-running-for-christmas-965/

"Tipsy or tired drivers can be taken home in their own cars until the new year.

A door to door service, to make sure drivers get home safely if they've had too much to drink over the festive season, is back again in the Lake Geneva region. This is the 22nd year that Operation Red Nose, or Nez Rouge in French, has provided a lift for people who've had a little too much of the Christmas spirit to get behind the wheel. Until New Year's Day, volunteers are available to drive customers and their cars home. Operation Red Nose isn't just for people who've had too much to drink – you can also use the service if you're on drugs, legal or otherwise, and shouldn't drive or simply because you're just too tired. The direct telephone number is 022 710 27 77 and the free phone number is 0800 802 208. For more information go to http://www.nezrouge.ch/

Great initiative. Will the service help 'frontaliers' get back over the border to France (St Genis, Thoiry etc?).
