TPG bows down to criticism over its new public transport network.

"Modifications are to be introduced to Geneva's public transport service, the TPG, just a month after a new network came into operation. December's changes have come under widespread criticism, which has led TPG bosses and transport authorities to look at ways of improving the service so quickly. As part of the 'tweaks' there'll be a dedicated bus lane on the Mont Blanc bridge from early March, saving around ten minutes on journey times, line three will return to it's original route and line seven will be reintroduced.

TPG has also promised to keep passengers better informed about the new network and to continue to give as much information as possible over the next couple of months, until people have settled into the service. Measures to restrict traffic congestion around rue du Rhone will continue, with there now being a zero tolerance policy for cars and other private vehicles. Further revisions to the public transport network are expected within the next month."
