Receiving (free digital DV-B) French TV in Geneva?
Hi all,

can anyone provide me with a simple explanation about receiving French tv over a usual aerial via the digital DV-B method in geneva? I would have expected, since we are so close to the border, to be able to pick up quite a few of the french DVB signals but I only receive the Swiss four. Is there something different about the French signal or are big invisible fans blowing the signal back into france along the borders? I didn't think DVB understood PAL/SECAM differences but I am out of my depth.... anybody know? Thanks,

Chris

Ah... there was me thinking that the answer was that I needed a special piece of French techie wizardry because their system was green with pink spots and the rest of the world had chosen yellow with black spots... had no idea is was just because there is No Signal. Jeez. Ah well I will laugh when the tv leaps into life in 2011... thanks for clearing it up.
