Renting a studio in Geneva

Hi everyone,

I am planning to rent a furnished studio in Geneva but have no idea where to start. Do I have to consult to an agency ? What are the price ranges ?

Thanks.

Here are the websites I used when searching for an apartment:
http://www.homegate.ch/en?a=default&l=default
http://www.anibis.ch/fr/default.aspx (this is where I found mine)
http://www.immoscout24.ch/IS24Web/_V2/Home.aspx?nav=0&wl=1&lng=en
http://www.anzeiger.ch/sitemap/wohnung/mieten/kanton/genf?roomsFrom=&roomsTo= (this one collects the ads from other sites - unfortunately it is in German)
http://www.immo.ch/en;ANZSESSIONID=ctJMQsQKNLz02G4Z6nhpqd8hBpt2JnJWh2RW2FRmpQYhn1pdBv8y!-854006474
http://www.glocals.com/classifieds/geneva/housing-and-real-estate/ (of course)

Also you can check directly at the agencies' websites, or simply go there and ask.

The price depends on a lot of things, like location, size, how well it is maintained.

Good luck! And don't listen to the people who are telling you it is impossible to find something. It can be difficult - but I am living in the first apartment that I saw (and really like it!).

This is a SCAM do not mail to that address ; they will tell you that the owner is living in some other country and thats why they will need copies of your passport,ID, driving licence and some other things. This is identity theft, be careful!

Yigit:

It depends on the studio of course, but I'd say you're looking at CHF 1K at least for a decent one.
