I know that there are a lot of great restaurants in Carouge. There are about six of us getting together Saturday evening to celebrate a friend's upcoming marriage. We're looking for a mid-price restaurant with a good atmosphere that allows for conversation. We're starting our evening at Qu'Importe, so nearby there would be great but not required.

It's an old school Italian in Carouge. More homey than fancy, with good food and waiters who - when the mood sets on them - start singing Italian opera...

I love to go there during winter for some fondue (especially "fondue au champagne", you have to try it!), but they have good meat as well (their entrecote is good).

Have you ever been to Via Roma? In Place du Marché. It's avery good Italien restaurant.
