Pika's advice is good: you can go to a school, but it will cost you an arm and a leg, and it's not a huge help.
I'd recommend maybe going for just 1 time with a pro instructor, to get the feel of it. Then, just go and learn by doing. I think Pika might be persuaded to take you climbing...(-:

Hi Mike. Thanks for the course info. I noticed the wall before when dropping my little girl off and have been wondering how to get access to it. I've missed the start of this course but do you know if there are any other times its open to the public?
Paul

Sorry Paul, but as far as I know, it is not open to the general public at any time.

There is also the Geneva Climbing school, it has information about its adult courses here : http://objectifvertical.genevescalade.ch/html/cours.html. Main website here: http://www.genevescalade.ch/
The website is in French but I know 2 of the instructors and they are both bi-lingual and tell me they regularly get English only speakers and accommodating them is easy. Based on what I know of the 2 instructors the standard of tuition will be excellent and the school is closely linked to the climbing community in Geneva (they run the annual city bouldering and lead climbing competitiions).
Cheers
Sam
PS The courses are popular and fill quickly so plan and book ahead!

Hi there,
I realize the thread is old, but want to ask whether the course is offered in the summer? Would love to learn rock climbing. Thanks!

I'm sure but you need to contact them directly to know dates and availability.
