Anyone heard of Salt Scalp Peeling to promote hair growth?
My wife says she thinks its an old eastern european recipe to help rid of dandruff and promote hair growth.
what do you want to know?

Thanks Stuart Q. I also heard that it comes from Eastern Europe but that's pretty much it. I wanted to know if anyone tried it and can share experience. Because it looks pretty scary to me. Im doing hot oil hair treatments now and apparently the benefits are much higher after this peeling.

You can use DEAD SEA salt or Himalaya Salt crystals (which are very pure) in same proportions and add half coffee spoon of olive oil for non-irritating scalp massage.Rinse with lukewarm water mixed with a solution of marinated nettle (preparation made with several nettle leaves soaked with rain water in a closed container). It is also efficient for dandruffs . You finish with a mild shampoo.
Do not use salt crystals on your scalp if you have pimples or recent cuts as it will be irritating.
