Please pass along!
I moved to London from Geneva a couple of months ago and made the mistake of hiring AGENCE FRET CARGO to ship a few boxes.
Biggest mistake I ever made.
They are incompetent thieves. DO NOT USE THEM and please pass along.
I got a lawyer involved who has sent them letters "en recommande" and they have ignored every single attempt I made to contact them to get them to rectify the wrongs they have caussed.
Please pass along!

Hello Tamara,
I live in Switzerland and was about to hire the Fret Cargo!
Can you provide some detail of the issues you had with them?
Eduard seemed nice but a little vaqgue on the *total* costs one shoud expect.
Thank you in advance!

Hi Maria,
Just so you know, it's been 3 months now and I have yet to hear from them. Honestly if you feel like Mr Senger is being vague with you regardnig the costs, you're right!
I initially had a phone call with him during which he told me the cost to ship boxes to London from Geneva would be 2,90FR per kilo. We agreed he would come pick up my boxes the day before my move to London. I hung up and thought about it some more... i estimated the weight of my boxes to 100 kilos, and his cost seemed low to me. I called him back, and asked him to confirm and he confirmed the cost and then vaguely mentioned some admin fees, without specifying the amount. I reassured me and said not to worry and that he will confirm final costs the day of the move. I should have turned him down then and there.
He came on the day as agreed and as soon as he arrived i asked him to give me his cost, which he said he will do as soon as all my stuff is down in the truck and weighted.
He comes back upstairs with the bill: 1785chf. WHAT THE F???
I obviously react. We had less than 100 kilos, but all of a sudden he mentions costs due to volume, which he never mentioned until now! Of course I protest but it is too late for me to turn around, and he knows it. I am less than 24 hours from moving to London! No time to find another solution. So I reluctantly paid him in cash.
We agreed that my things would be stored for a month, because I did not have a flat in London. I would call them with my address after a few weeks and arrange for my things to be shipped there. However, for their forms, they needed me to provide a UK address, even with the understanding that this was NOT the destination address. So I gave my work address.
Wouldn't you know it, I get a call from my future boss a couple of days later (I just arrived in London and havent even started the new job yet!), telling me that a bunch of boxes have been delivered to the office, and that I need to get them out of there asap! Those useless #%&^ Delivered to my office, didnt notify me! So I had to find another moving company (because of course they have been unresponsive) and pay for my things to be taken from my office, moved somewhere else, and then a month later moved to my flat again! Of course Senger should pay but that $#%^ has ignored all calls, emails and even letter from a lawyer!
So other than turning other people away from him there is nothing for me to do! PLease for your own sake do not go to them. I actually got in touch with another company who gave me a great quote and come highly recommended: Luker Bros [email protected]

You don't make deals on the phone. You should sign deals on paper.

2,90FR per kilo, that would have made me think something was wrong straight away as in my opinion its impossible to ship to London for so little

Yes that's why called him back and tried to get more info out of him.
I shouldn't have agreed to anything without a proper quote.
However, my current issue with them is the fact that they delivered to the wrong address - and that was written down on paper as not the destination address.
The bit about the quote on the phone is just as much my fault as it is theirs but delivering to a wrong address and ignoring all of my attempts to contact them afterwards is unprofessional.
