Second hand office supplies/furniture

Hello all,

does anyone know where you can buy something like a flip chart stand (on wheels) and chart paper, die cutting machines, second hand at a reasonable price? I have looked in some second hand stores around town and the are hard to come buy. I guess I am looking for offices/Schools that are closing down.

OR if someone is looking to sell or donate such items, that would be very helpful

Thanks for any pointers.

Have you tried looking on Ricardo - a long shot I know but you might be successful with at least some of the items you are looking for. Only problem is, you will have to fetch them

Have you been to the larger outlets of charity organizations such as Caritas, Centre social protestant, Arnée du Salut, Ennaus, etc.?

They often have donations of such goods but it’s something of a lottery as to whether they’ll have what you want the day that you visit.

You could also look out for “Ventes aux enchères” ads in the local newspapers, especially the “Feuille d’Avis officielle de Genève”.

Best, R.

One other rather long shot could be to write to all the major private schools to ask if they have any stuff they don’t need.
