Shopping on Sunday?
I think I may be fighting a losing battle on this one, but is there anywhere within a reasonable distance of Geneva where you can shop on a Sunday? Nothing extravagant, just things that I would expect to find without too much difficulty... clothes, DIY, electronics, etc... Sleepy Sundays are all very well, but....

The Airport shopping mall (Galeries de l'Aéroport) or some supermarkets in France but they close at noon.

If you drive over to Ferney Voltaire in France - there are a couple grocery stores open on Sunday mornings. Or you could check out Sunday farmer's markets in Divonne Les Bains?

Almost all shops (clothes, shoes, etc.) in Divonne are open until 1:00 / 1:30 pm on Sundays because of the market.
If you are looking for a supermarket, Intermarché in Gex is open on Sunday aswell (on the way to Divonne).
