Singer looking for band or alternatively singing group!

Hi there,


I'm a 27 yr old Swedish female and I am looking for either a singing position in a band or some kind of singing group!


I have quite a low or deep voice and I am into bands or artists like tegan and sara, le tigre, chicks on speed, jenny wilson, ida maria and the magnetic fields.


I use to sing in a choir and with a singing tutor for about 6 yrs so I have quite a bit of experience understanding notes and doing harmonies etc.


If anyone has any ideas that would be great of either someone looking for singer or just any kind of tip really on how to go about this kind of thing!

Affraid I can't help you with the band-thing, as I just got here myself, but I take from this you're into alternative music? I'm a big lover of music, although I couldn't play an instrument if my life depended on it... It'd be nice to meet a few people to exchange music with though.

Hi Evy!


I was wondering if you had found a singing group? I'm 26 yrs old also from Sweden and have sung in choirs before.  I have similar taste in music and would be very interested in forming a casual singing group that does more current music in harmonies (though very open to any music style really!).  Let me know what you think!
