Does anyone know if there are ski swaps in the Geneva area, where you can buy used gear, or last year's gear at discounted prices? I'm particularly interested in Alpine Touring/Ski Randonee gear.
Thanks for any help you can provide,
Ryan

The French sport stores chain Decathlon organises every year the Trocathlon which is a big ski equipment swap.
There's a Decathlon shop in Annemasse, just on the other side of the border
For this year's sale, you should leave what you want to sell between Oct 17th and 24th, and the sale is Oct 18th to 25th.
Good luck!

I know the owners of Technosurf (Thierry and Chantal) and they have top quality and incredible deals. I rented all my ski equipment (as well as my kids) from them for 3 seasons and bought a pair of skis at the end of one season. Once "I" lost some boots and they didn't even charge me for them. They also carry other sports equipment, notably windsurfing gear.
