does anyone here use this? I want to be able to watch US sports while living in Geneva. Webcam is too choppy and was hoping slingbox would offer a better feed.
If anyone could provide some info on this I'd appreciate it!

I have a couple of friends that have a slingbox. They love it! I am not sure how much you know about it but my friends pay for another hookup at their parent's house in the States for their slingbox to use. They then can record everything they want to watch and can also stream live without being forced to watch what their parents might be watching. I've thought about doing this but just haven't gotten around to working it out. Let me know if you have other questions and I can direct them to my friends who use it.

I have a slingbox and generally it works well although sometimes I have issues with the firewall on my swisscom DSL. they also have a new device called a slingcatcher which would let you stream it onto your TV here so its more like a regular tv watching experience.
its better if the house in the US where you have it set up has a DVR. especially with the time difference.
