Hi glocals! My family and I will be visiting Geneva coming up. We are thinking of a day trip one day- any recommendations for close, easily accesible (transit preferred, we don't plan on renting a car) snowy place? Not necessarily for skiing, but at least to play a bit in the snow and enjoy the cold. Thanks in advance!

Hi, snow is coming and going... Places that are easy to reach by public transport are Salève (take bus 8 to Veyrier douane and walk to cablecar), see https://www.telepherique-du-saleve.com/, webcam at http://meteoleman.com/webcam-saleve/ (middle one shows that there is no snow at the moment) and La Givrine (train via Nyon) - webcam at http://en.swisswebcams.ch/webcam/1170074478-St-Cergue-La-Givrine-(1265-Col-de-la-Givrine)_Weather
