Hello Great Goler Minds,
Nail holes in my apartment need to be filled. Can anyone point me in the right direction? - I need something we call in the US - spackle. I live right near the MParc, so am hoping the DIY place has it there, but am hoping to also be armed with some knowledge of what I'm buying so that I'm not wandering around aimlessly.
Merci!

hey there, what you are looking for is moltofill by the company molto, it´s sold in a tubes of 250 grams and more, the tube is yellow with a red screwcap. check http://www.molto.de/detail_info.html?pid=7 for a screenshot. you also need a spatula. i highly recommend plastic ones.
first you make sure, that the hole is clean, dry and free of grease (please no comments on that one), you then fill it up with the moltofill and take excessive paste of with the spatula. let it dry over night and you can even it out with sandpaper if you need to.

Thanks for all of your tips - I guess my idea of squeezing the goop on my finger and shoving it into the nail hole wasn't very realistic.

Sometimes, filled holes are visibles because filling is shining white while the wall is greyer. A usefull tipp is to use some white gouache (regular kid water paint) and a tiny bit of grey to darken the repair. DYI at art level ! ;-P

So, reviving this thread after 5 years, but I have this tube of Molto spackle and I can't get it open! I have stuck a safety pin in the top, I have tried cutting the tip off (don't try that at home!) and nada, zip, nothing!
Any suggestions?
Many thanks!
