Here's a question for students who are looking for or have found housing in Geneva. For some of us, our program schedules don't allow for employment - how did you get around the salary slips requirement for régies? Did you find a guarantor?

I am looking for an appa as well and I gave up with Regies. You would have to visit the various appartments in fixed dates with other people and even if you are first, they may give it to someone they know or they feel need the appa more than you first; you better look out on the web to find out privates in my opinion. Hi Ambo, thanks for the reply and the advice. I realise that and have been checking the Classifieds here and various FB groups daily but I've been having issues finding a sublet since I'll only arrive in Geneva in September and everyone who is subletting a flat or room from September onwards is arranging visits now...

Yes, that s quite it but there are continuously new offers in Genf; as you can see there is one on this website as well if you find 2 other subbers (look for latest posts)
