This is Switzerland, everyone plans their holidays 1 year in advance... ;)

really?! i have not yet!! my week of holidays coming up in July.... but do we have to go away or there are good alternatives in Geneva?!

if you have lived here for sometime you want to leave geneva for your holiday!

if your holidays are the last 2 weeks of July you can spend your days at the plage/pool and your evenings at the pre fete de geneve...party every night.

If you need sun and sand and sea, then go to the sth of france or spain or Italy or greece or corsica....

it really depends on how much you wanna spend and what you wanna do with your hoilidays, and if you have someone to go with....

the world is in your hands.

Summer in GVA is great! Plenty of things to do, beach parties, free concerts, hiking, etc.

If you don't need to take your holidays during school holidays, then I certainly recomend staying here.

I hikack this thread to ask a question about summer plans in Geneva... I know there are lots of outdoor concerts and activities in town during the summer,  Is there any Geneva publication that would be the equivalent of Time Out http://www.timeout.com/ ?
