Sunday lunch/roast

Hi All,

Hello! my fiance and I have just arrved to Geneva (been here a week!) trying to find our feet a bit and wondered if anyone knows of anywhere good that does a traditional Sunday roast? seem to be struggling to find anywhere...coming from London im shocked how many places actually close on Sundays, they have the work life balance down to a fine art here :-)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I haven't found a place that does traditional Sunday Lunch as us Londoners know it. However, I spend the weekends in London still so don't know many places. I have heard that Batavia Family Restaurant (from 6 am daily) has a brunch buffet on Sundays. There is an Irish Pub, Claddagh, Geneva Commons which might do a traditional Sunday Roast as they do shepherds pie, fish and chips etc. Even if you go there someone might be able to direct you to a place that does the traditional Roast!

Clubhouse does a sunday roast, but you have to book by friday & if no one else has booked you have to be a minimum of 4 people for them to accept reservation.

Having said that you can turn up & if others have booked then you can order it as well, which is what we do & hope for the best.

CHF 35  for carvery style, 2 meats & as much veg as you want.......

If you find anywhere else please let me know!Laughing
