Just saw a thread about Ikea being opened on Sunday. Knowing how frustrating it can be when you arrive from a country with longer opening hours or Sunday trading, I thought I'd post this link:
it shows opening times for many shops and other places in the Swiss Romande area (only in French or German). This should let you know if shops are closed for the afternoon, at midday for a couple of hours or if they have extended hours on certain days and will hopefully help you to avoid any wasted trips!
