Not sure if anyone has had this experience. I went to get my Swiss driver's license today and I thought I had all requirements met.  That would be way too simple...I could not proceed in getting my CH license because I needed to provide a certificate from Dept of Motor vehicle in the US indicating the date that my license was originally issued.  This date is not on US driver's license, and the state where I originally got my license only keeps those records for 10 years.  Arrrgh!

Any suggestions on how this "certificate" can be gotten? Is there a workaround to getting this certiicate?
