I am trying to connect the TV to the cable box. Does anyone know if the cable boxes are specific to the internet address you use? We just moved and not sure if that is why the system won't hook up for me. We are using someone elses box till ours arrives.

Assuming from your post that you get tv provided through internet, then yes, it wont work. Besides the box, Swisscom will also need to activate the signal for you to receive tv, just getting someone else's box won't work.
