Tax declaration - List of cantonal tax deductions

Hi all,

I can't seem to find the full list of expenses that are deductible from income tax, specific for the canton of Geneva.

I keep finding some generic "tips" on google, but they are vague, probably mainly at Federal Level, but with no specifics.

For example, what kind of out-of-pocket medical expenses can be deducted etc.?

Thank you,

Dan

Depends on whether you're taxed at source or not (<5 years, no large capital and no property ownership) - main deductibles are pension payments pillar 3a (and b in Geneva) and pillar 2 buybacks.

You can run calculations here:

https://ge.ch/finances/ael-afcportail/formis2019/iscal.php

For tax return there are more deductibles, simulations available here:
