Any idea where one can find a turkey for thanksgiving around Lausanne/la côte? Supermarkets do not seem to have them yet (waiting for Xmas I suppose...)

THANKSGIVING DINNER - GENEVA NOV. 26TH
ONLY 2 MORE DAYS TO SIGN UP!
In order to have this event appear, I had to make the closing date the same as the event date ( had to be smarter than the computer :-)
So Please note the event date IS the 26th of Nov.!!!! 7 pm
This is it....not the movie but the dinner.

buffet means you can go back for as much as you want:-)
89 sfr. and a 10% discount for american citizens ( finally some good news!!) bring your passport or ID. ( is this % subsidized by the IRS :-)
ok, sign up here and call 022 908 91 61 ask for Gregor and book your place saying that you are with the glocals group. And don't forget to RSVP here in the box above.
last day for reservation is November 20th. otherwise you will not get a place as we have booked for 20 people. so hurry!!

Hello All,
You can order great fresh turkeys from Manor in Geneva. Aligro in Les Acacia / Carouge also sells turkeys and fresh cranberries.
If you order from Manor, I recommend that you are precise about the size of turkey you;d like. Last year after asking for a 7 kilo turkey, we ended up with a 9 kilo turkey that barely fit in the over!

I bought one today at Migros on florrisant. 38 chf, a lot better than 200 chf I paid of one from a butcher 3 years ago!
