Things to do with kids

My family is coming to visit me this weekend and staying on the following week. We would love to go to a Halloween-party, but I can't find anything suitable for families. Also, I'd appreciate any other suggestions on how to keep us busy.

Hello. Take a look at this although I am not quite sure this is what your looking for -

http://www.facebook.com/GymboreeGenevaGrandSaconnex?fref=ts

On this page there is the following -

Looking for some Halloween activities? Here are a few ideas: - 1) Munchkins' Halloween Special - Wednesday 31st October from 13h30 til 18h30
For our first Halloween, Munchkins has teamed up with fantastic face-painter Sylvie, local photographer Michelle, cupcake master Sweet Ideas and pumpkin-carver extraodinaire Trixie to bring you all the activity you need for a proper Halloween afternoon and se

nd you off into the night to trick-or-treat in style. Come along already dressed/made up or bring your costume with you get into the Halloween spirit on site.
Sylvie will be painting faces with simple/small designs at CHF 5.- and bigger/more complex designs at CHF 10.-
Trixie will be holding court on the terrace supervising and teaching the art of pumpkin carving.
This activity is open to all, however children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be two carving sessions at 13h30 and at 15h30 and pre-registration is required so as to ensure the correct number of pumpkins! The cost of this activity is CHF 25.- per pumpkin regardless of the number of carvers so carve your own or do this as a group activity, it's up to you!
For pre-registration, please e-mail [email protected] mentioning your name, a contact phone number, the preferred session, number of pumpkins required and the number of carvers.
Michelle will be on hand to immortalize the afternoon's fun and games. Photos will then be available through her website after the event.
Sweet Ideas' special Halloween cupcakes will be on sale so drop by for tea "en famille" or take them away to your Halloween party. Pre-orders are possible by e-mailing [email protected]
The Munchkins cauldron will be bubbling with sweets and we look forward to sending our little clients off into the night with a trick-or-treat starter kit.

- 2) Le P'tit Bonheur restaurant in Chambésy is having a special Halloween brunch as well as a Thanksgiving dinner.
ALL-ABOUT-PUMPKIN MENU - 31st October
Join us for Halloween to savour our “All-About-Pumpkin Menu”, to forget the cold and to enjoy the different original and sweet pumpkin flavours of the fall. Au P’tit Bonheur was featured last year in the Tribune de Genève for its creative Menu. We hope we can surprise you again this year!

I have a better idea: send your husband to Vitam with the kids and come over and  "help me clean" Tongue out
