Those with Babies - Gripe Water

I asked at the pharmacy for Gripe Water and they didn't know what I was talking about. Has anyone bought Gripe water or something similar (to bring up a baby's winds), in Geneva? If yes, what is it called and where can I get it? Thanks!

It should be available at almost any pharmacy. I know for sure that the pharmacy in Eaux Vive sells it, as does Parmacie Parc Bertrand in Florissant. Keep in mind that the Swiss formula does have a small amount of alcohol.

Not up to date with baby products but am surprised there would be alcohol in baby products like gripe water here..!
However, would suggest if you can't find it elsewhere without alcohol, to go to the Pharmacie de Bergues. Even phone them up and ask about it. They will probably even make it up for you in quite a short time.

Thanks all!! And in future if anyone is in desperate need of gripe water and doesn't have any, you can also give them a small bit of fennel tea. It works very well!

Its to help babies bring up a burp. My little girl had bad colic at around 2 months old and she would cry for hours on end. Apparently this happens to some babies when their intestines are underdeveloped and its super painful for them when wind gets lodged in their bellies. The gripe water and fennel tea definitly helps!
