Things I was thinking of where Cool  playgrounds, something like a little zoo maybe where some animals can be touched.
I already have a boat trip, cable car trip to the Saleve on my list.
Thanks for any suggestions. Really appreciate it.

I've seen a pool with water slides off Rue de Veyrier in Carouge near Bout-du-Monde, but I don't know if it's any good.
How about the Baby Plage in Eaux-Vives? That looks good and there's a play area there too.
There's a book you can get in fnac in English called The Know It All Passport to Geneva which has loads of info' on childrens' activities amongst other things.

You can also visit Parc des Eaux -Vives. There is a very nice playground and if you want to you can have a picnic there. The park is pretty clean and safe..except the restrooms..
Parc Bertrand has a huge sandpit and a paddling pool. And Jardin Botanic might be a place that 3 year old will like :)
Going to the restaurant with a kid isn`t a problem here but i can recommend Boulangerie Tea- Room Wolfisberg in Carouge ( 5, pl. du Temple ). It`s a tea room with an indoor play area. Closed on Wednesday!
They have brunch on Sunday but by reservation only.
If you feel like taking a trip go to Morges - great playgrounds by the lake.
Have fun!

I go often with my son and he loves it. Kids can do pony rides on Wednesdays
and weekends and there are lots of animals that can be approached.
Outside Geneva, you can go to do a day trip in Signal de Bougy www.signaldebougy.ch

thanks a lot for the suggestions. I will check them out. They all sound very nice and even have something for the parents.
If anybody else has more - keep them coming.
Thanks.:)

- go to the Natural History Museum - obviously it doesn't compare to that of big cities, but kids seem to go mad for it. Big displays of animals (stuffed) and a dinosaur section with life-sized models. Also stuff on planets, fossils etc and they often have special exhbitions on too. There's a cafe there, too and shop.
- a great one to pull out of the bag is "Yatouland" - it's in a wierd hangar-style building near Meyrin, but inside is a huge kid-friendly space full of bouncy castles, climbing frames etc. Hyperactivity and happy children guaranteed. Website is:
