I hope to rent my house soon but I need a legal rental contract for the let. Can someone recommend a Notaire that deals with rental contracts or even point me in the right direction to get hold of one for less expense!?

You have to contact a real estate agency association and ask them for an equal-type lease agreement. See below.

In Geneva, the tenants' associations and the real estate agencies have worked out together an equal-type lease agreement. The lease agreement type for apartments, 2001 edition. This is the lease agreement most commonly used by the real estate agencies for apartment rentals in Geneva and the one we shall analyze in detail in the next insert.
HOW TO RENEW, TERMINATE OR HAND OVER THE APARTMENT OR HOUSE
The Lease Agreement Type for Apartments or Houses
Since 1991, an equal-type lease agreement has been recommended by real estate professionals in Geneva for apartment rentals and it is very likely that you'll be asked to sign such a lease agreement when you are looking for housing in the Canton of Geneva.
A flyer made up of one page ("Specific Conditions") and containing "General Conditions and Rules and Rental Customs in the Canton of Geneva", this equal lease agreement sets up the basis of a relationship between lessees (tenants) and lessors in the Canton of Geneva. Out of a total of 63 points, the ones which concern the renewal or the notice (Article 13), the termination or the hand over (Article 16) of your apartment are important and often not understood by lessees (tenants) wishing or forced to change residence.
